Thanks for taking this picture it was one of my favorite Kustoms at the show. I don't
know who did the paint work but the scallopes are purrfect..

Keep posting pictures, I've seen pictures that I didn't see at the show... I hate when
that happens.

Not sure which dragster he was refering to, but that dragster there was owned by John Dodson (AKA my grandfather) and driven by his little brother Jim Bob and mostly Jack pillips. My Dad was pretty young, but he believes that car was actually pulled and pushed by a 1957 Cameo pickup. Here is a scan of the National Dragster from March 23, 1962, page 10. I would love to one day own that car, it just takes money, lol. It makes me so happy every time I see that the Calvert team has been able to bring it out.

Some cool shit there! The bare metal Model A Coupe on Deuce rails with the Hemi is badass.

 

yeah its virgin, down to the 1948 may pops, he (mark) found it in a barn covered in burlap sacks with bout and inch of dust on it, its a blast to ride in too lol

 

I'm digging the pic of the pooch in the roadster..

 

When did you paint the Coupe? Love the new color!

its painted a little over a year now color is root beer..

Great photos. Makes me a little jealous that I"m not able to go to these shows. Thanks for posting. That dog looks to have stolen the show.

 

Man I would love to miss a show or two to be able to go fly fishing on Sand creek Gods country.
