can you hear those open headers echo off the downtown denton buildings, as you drive to dan's on friday? the cool night air carries that wonderful aroma of warm engines and gasoline past your open window as you mash the pedal down, keeping pace with that coupe in front of you.................i can't wait.

 

actually, we'll be in on saturday morning and a 4 hour drive with the open headers will leave me deaf with 1 lung and my navigator (passenger) passed out with carbon monoxide poisoning...haha SEE YOU GUYS THEN!!!!

Talk about thrash--yesterday 5p.m.: motor starts making horrible noise. Pull motor find out more is wrong than you thought. Way more. Today 1:30 p.m.: return from San Antonio with a new motor(and much less cash!). This evening 10 p.m.: Fire it up, drive home and smile! I would love to thank all my boys down at Crushproof for once again dealing with my freakouts, letting me make a huge mess, letting me borrow a truck to get the motor, and then helping me make it to another kick-ass car show....(remember the round up guys?). Last year-my wifes Jetta. This year, hell or high water, my fuckin' wagon! See y'all there!

 

Well last night was a mad thrash, but I feel like it was worth it. I dont know what I am going to do with the midget (Danyelle) , she just cant hang anymore since school started.

Sciflyer, glad to see I'm not the only one who freaks out. Just ask Bass and the guys at the compound who helped me level out on my way back from Austin year before last. Sometimes we all need the moral support. Even if someone is setting things on fire and you're covered with gas. (not a fancy euphanism)

LOL.... only 4 year old girl I know that sleeps in the shop with cardboard for a mattress, paint can for toilet and a DeWalt drill for safety and a mutt for company.... and never complain !!! Man she is one of a kind. I don't think Dad;s gonna have beat them boys off with a stick cause she will definatly be able to hold her own.

 

She has good taste in car clubs also...
