Cougardan is dropping some parts by my house, and Enjenjo is coming to pick up the '48 chevy that saturday. I'm trying to make them come to the show.

 

Mike, It's looking good here. I'll have my shocks tuesday. and the dash is about finished. Have to fix the #6 miss but I got 2 weeks.

Afraid not, here's how she sits as of about 5 minutes ago, with a cracked block, and heads needing about $600 worth of work waiting at the machine shop for me to figure out my next move.



I bought this junker today, hopefully it'll have a rebuildable engine. I'm starting to seriously consider a city motor supply long block, and if I go that way, I think a 428 is dangerously close to being a bolt in deal.

 

I'll be there, but my car won't.

 

I'll either be there in the Shoebox or on the Triumph, depending on which one is running that day...might even bring both...

Or I might wheelie in on the Mad Maxed Kawisaki with a shirtless gimp on the back.

. The back end will be full of old T-bird parts and maybe an old bicycle I actually finished- it needs some pinstriping. Anybody bringing their brushes? See you there. By the way... where exactly is "there"?

Well hell, it looks like we should all be showin' up at your place. I gotta see Dan about T-Bird parts and I'm pickin' up a motor from Enjenjo. Would it be possible for me to horn in on y'alls action there and get some help tossing that motor from Enjenjo's trailer into the back of my truck? And that way you'll have an extra set of hands there to load that chevy up.

A couple of the ladies and I will be comin' up from Houston for a weekend in the Big D and the car show. And unbeknownst to them, some old car parts for the Big Daddy. LOL

I'll send ya a PM too so maybe we can make all this swappin' easy on everybody.

So, should I send registration in the mail? Or just bring $$$ and register when I get there Friday night? Do I still get a shirt?

 

Maybe you should be sick Friday too for the Arlington swap meet.

 

I'm off on Friday's, so we'll probably be there.

Get ready, Its gonna be a blast! The club had a meeting at Blazers bowling alley last week and I get a really good vibe from this place! Its like steppin back into the 1960s. The managment is all about the show and you cant beat a free game of bowlin which is part of the registration package. Im finishing laying out the flames on my 23 T this week and it should be ready to debut its new look at the show. Also if you have not preregistered The Reirsons will be at the Ballpark swap meet Friday with registration forms.
I will be there also so give me a call on my cell (817 808 2283) and we will hook you up. We have pretty much doubled our space for cars this year, Vendors will be inside the airconditioned Bowling alley, $1.50 Long necks and Marti Bram,High School Caesar,Hillbilly Heartthrobs,& The Susans!
