Nah, those Fords look better when lower in the back. Its much better for weight transfer too. Even though tire technology is much better today than it was back in the late '50s-early '60s, ya still gotta get that horsepower to the ground without wheelspin.

I'm with you, Eli - I see it with radiused rear wheel wells and dropped down some. Even with the work it needs, I think $4500 is a good deal.

It includes a big block chevy . . . and I know that will piss off the purists, but hey, that sucker would howl with a big block.

Actually, the best part of the BBC is it could easily be sold to pay for Ford parts.
I did a Photoshop of a '55 Crown Vic Gasser, its in my Photoshop album. The car looks great IMHO.

I got this '57 2 door post recently, it's an old hot rod, check out the custom notched bench seat for shifter clearance!

I'll sell it for $800 if anyone wants to build it.

I agree. My 2st car was a 56 Meteor, Canadian Ford that I don't have any pics of. So somebody has to post some of the Meteor only front grill and chrome.
My 1st was a 57 Meteor 2 dr imitation hardtop. Pisses me that I cant afford to buy either now.

Maybe your camera knows you're putting a BBC in the car and questions your "focus". Sorry, had to say that, I'm a diehard Ford guy. However, before I came to my senses I did have a '70 SS Chevelle with a 402 in it. Pretty good running motor for a Chevy.:p...Uh oh, did I just stir the pot a little? Sorry Speedy!:D

Good thing you didn't have my wallet, all you could've afforded was a bean burrito and co-cola! I see your point though, I've been a Chevy and Mopar guy in years long past, but been into Fords for about 30 years now. My dream car is a '56 Crown Vic Gasser with a blown Cammer & top loader. I just need YOUR wallet! :D
