    Some of the runs present.

    That's MetalFlaked60s (Jamie's) ride and Redsleds's (Jimmy's) Olds powered unit.

The fella with the clean Tbird had this gas-burner ice cream churn. Traditional? I'd say so, with a '36 wagon and a '46 engine. Cool.

The Southern Slingshots put on a good show. When they invited my boys to sit in the dragster, I knew they were cl*** acts.

He probably won't be on for a few days. We saw him before we left and he was doing pretty good. They wanted to keep him an extra day. His wife just come down when we got there.

As for Tudor... He'll tell you exactly, but the first one was a 13.9 something. I personally think he had a lot more in that car than he let out.

All in all it was a good time. Not so great in the early morning, but otherwise great. Thanks big to redsled. Even helped me out with some exhaust problems!

Chuck is doing good. He had a pretty good concussion that freaked us out pretty well. But the prognosis is good. Said he'll be out in a day or so. When we saw him he was itching to get out of there and go home. We'll let him tell the rest if he wants to.

PBR only ran once. That thing was FAST!! :D You really had to see it to believe it. He smoked me and my best time was a meger 14.5. Which is actually a lot better than I expected. Car weighed in at 3810lbs with me in it and I only had one wheel pushing me down the track. All in all it wasn't too bad.

First of all - Thank God Chucks going to be allright. Golf carts can be dangerous. The ER room people said "we have another fell off the golf cart patient" I just heard his wife saying they may get out tonight. They said if he holds his dinner down he can go., but another doctor stil needed to OK it. He was pretty anxious to get out of there this morning at 8:00 am.

A big thanks to Jimmy and he crew for the work they put into the event. It was real low key and the track was awesome. The track was perfect for this type event. There may have been a total of 50 cars racing and you could get around without lines etc.

Jeff - My best time slip was a 13.87. I need to put that bigger cam and the 750 holley back on there! Says I ran an 8.9 in the 1/8th onthe time slip I ran a 13.956 which was my first p***. I can't find the dang ticket with my 13.8 on there.

Oh well, I was pretty happy with the time, I was going to be happy with 14's, if it had been cooler I might get a little better.

  24. 14.5 @ 3,800 lbs and 95 degree heat..., That's Damn Good...!!!

I bet your sixty footers were over 2 seconds though...! Just remember that when you're running street tires and your one legged that you should drive around the Burnout water and do a "DRY Burnout"..., you'll notice a big difference in your launch and sixty foot times...!

    What e.t. did PBR run?

Tudor, that a good run.............. you need to fine another few tenths and you may give Jeff a run (***uming he can not get traction).

Good thing I did not go, I have a rocker arm come loose and turn 90 degrees on me yesterday while hitting the heavy pedal on the way to lunch....... made alot of racket.... got lucky, no damage
