the guys name is Dave vaughn, he lives here in palmdale nice british guy, he has another older uk ride.
We just got home ourselves. No pics yet,to damned tired! Great show! Lotsa folks met. Some new, some old. Tons of cars! Even worked on some( well, kinda , huh George!) See ya'all later! AL
I really liked this '48 Dodge. Best part was the hopped up six. This car had welds all over it, cleaned up with a grinder but, raw welds. Looked really cool. Couple nice Chev's. And lastly, gotta throw a homeboy Poncho in. Had a really good time. Was tired from the get go. Too much non stop workin' on the car and long drive. Disappointed there weren't more old school sixes. There were a couple hopped up 235/261 that had some cool stuff but, sixes were few and far between amongst the sea of V8's. Will my new six be ready for the drive next year? Hope so! -David
Mugsy, that silver '53 Chevy's awesome, it looks like it might have been a club coupe. Sean72, I've owned my Capri since '87, I bought it from the original owner for $450, there's supposed to be twelve of them known to exist in the USA. I've had three of them since '84. The first one I customized back then, a right hand drive, it was shaved, nosed and decked I painted it bright pink. The one I've got now won't get any body mods maybe just a subtle apple green metalflake job. I'm trying really hard to get her on the road so I can save some gas money. Thanks for all the great pics fellas, I wish I woulda been there.
Yeah, they where their too. I had enough photos of the coupe from Viva, just took the pic of the fancy rig. Sean
The Paso pics I've seen here so far are TERRIFIC!! A very special thanks to all that took the time to post so we could all partake. This has to be the "Belle of the Ball", what a awesome custom. Joel
Wow that sure is a nice car hauler. Man that sure puts a different spin on the cars they brought out here from texas. I thought they drove them. I'm not sure what to say. Maybe, NICE TRAILER MAN.
Saw that Grease Monkey Hauler at Hershey...Need to sell a ton of t-shirts to make that payment. Larry
