Alright heres the gamble... my friend recently bought a 51 merc convert that looks to be in not to bad of shape, thats 2000 miles away! were flying to Michigan sunday morning and were going to attempt to drive this thing home. I just want to get your guys's input on what you think might break, blowout,or just go wrong on this trip!! not really any background on the car, other than its a bone stocker that has a older restoration and they drive it during summertime, and runs like a swiss watch.. which is all the info you need right?? i hope we have some drama or its not really a fun adventure, dont you agree.?? heres the merc. well,, talk to ya guys in a few days i hope!
If anything goes wrong it will be electrical. Have a fun trip. Can you explain that got done to the trunk lid?
