You boys are making me hungry, Sodbuster Is there a HAMB food tour?

My family's from Joplin so I spent my youth there, like most Joplin transplants my freezer usually has a couple bricks of Fred and Reds to get me through the summer.

My family was quite involved in Wilders in the 30's so I usually stop there.
Boy do miss ice cream from Andersons - and Raymond.

The word that I got was that the owners were going to retire and will not reopen. This is not good news for me. This is second hand information so I can not say that they will not be reopening in the future but it is a possibility.

I have no clue why lots of folks were head over heals about Stout. We ate there last year. I didn't think it was all that great. In fact I wouldn't go back there if they were open.

Maybe we should give that a try on Thursday night??

I like Red Hot and Blue BBQ and am looking forward to hotting there on Friday night.

There is a Greek place downtown that has belly dancers and other entertainers 3 nights a week. I took my wife and the entertainment was some cat playing his harmonica!! I HEARD THEY HAD GOOD FOOD THOUGH.

Huh... who knows why anyone likes what they do? I thought Red Hot and Blue was bad... and grits are just fucking gross all around.

Pizza by Stout will be sorely missed by me this year.

  19. There's a new bar and grille at the LaQuinta Hotel.....formerly the Ramada.
Called Pitchers.....just opened. Haven't been there yet so can't speak
    about the food.

Just a little tip/reminder for next year.
