You boys are making me hungry, Sodbuster Is there a HAMB food tour? My family's from Joplin so I spent my youth there, like most Joplin transplants my freezer usually has a couple bricks of Fred and Reds to get me through the summer. My family was quite involved in Wilders in the 30's so I usually stop there. Boy do miss ice cream from Andersons - and Raymond. C.

The word that I got was that the owners were going to retire and will not reopen. This is not good news for me. This is second hand information so I can not say that they will not be reopening in the future but it is a possibility. John
No that was waffle house for us!!! Biscuits and gravy after a fifth of Jack! NOT repeating that this year!
I have no clue why lots of folks were head over heals about Stout. We ate there last year. I didn't think it was all that great. In fact I wouldn't go back there if they were open. Maybe we should give that a try on Thursday night?? I like Red Hot and Blue BBQ and am looking forward to hotting there on Friday night.
that was my plan! red hot and blue i believe is outta business also, not because of the twister though.
There is a Greek place downtown that has belly dancers and other entertainers 3 nights a week. I took my wife and the entertainment was some cat playing his harmonica!! I HEARD THEY HAD GOOD FOOD THOUGH. Lundo
Mmmmm.... Maybe Sat.? But VB's brats in the parking lot Friday night, Ryno's donuts for breakfast Sat., Drag Strip food and Ryno's burgers for lunch...
Huh... who knows why anyone likes what they do? I thought Red Hot and Blue was bad... and grits are just fucking gross all around. Pizza by Stout will be sorely missed by me this year.

Just a little tip/reminder for next year. Chris
