Well Jim, does not surprise me, she is pissed. Wants her daddy back possibly .

 

Sad to see it go .... happy to see it stay in the family .... looking forwards to updates on Tom channel ..... I just wonder what the future changes will be.

Either way I love Jim like a brother and wish the car best happiness ..... While I Like Tom in his videos, I'm just not sure how good he is in maintenance. ..... Either way nobody cares .... If a LS gets stuffed into it next week ..... Who cares? ..... The old 427 could be good in a Volkswagen. The car lives on.

Since you replaced the fuse with a circuit breaker, did he get it restarted after a few minutes? Did it then keep tripping?

 

It came back to life pretty quickly, then worked fine so far. I talked to him this morning.

you gotta read the rule book carefully. If you move the battery then you need a switch. If you run faster than 10.0 then you need a switch. If you don't do either, you don't need a switch. I left the battery up front, where it really ought to be.

 

The new fuse you put in must be a good one, it fixed itself for him!

 

it's a self resetting circuit breaker, I used to replace the fuse.

 

I have read all of this and have some refection on it. Many of us have built and sold. Life is a continuous chain of adventures. While some may repeat the same adventure over, it's not for everybody. If you try to grow and always achieve something different, you will move on to the next adventure. In my world, Jim did the correct thing and is ready for the next adventure. JMHO.
