    Your shittin' me, right?????

    1. Smoothr cut.
    2. Less distortion in the steel....barely gets warm...on thinner stuff.
    3. Only use electricity and compressed air.....change the tip and electrode every-once-in-a-while.....
    4. Coolerin the summer....

    and the list goes on.....

i have been using a thermal dynamics for some time. its a great machine can be ran in 110 or 220. very smooth and accurate. the only down fall is in the summer with the humidity. i run 2 high-end water traps and still i get some water through the tip. some one said to run a long hose from the compressor and zig zag it from the floor to the ceiling. which helped slightly. just be prepared to go through more tips in the humid months. i also have an esab which is a great machine also. its a 220 and very heavy duty. this machine seems to work better in the humidity.

agreed. tin snips, shears, will work but they distort the metal. i use my plasma for every thing. chopping roofs, cutting aluminum panels, making brackets etc. i used to feel the same way. but its like a cell phone once you have one and you are aware you get spoiled and cant go back to the old ways. and to be honest its much more convienent to say the least.

Had an ESAB but it went away in a burglary, I was happy with it. I now have a Miller 375 X-treme 110/220 and am happy with it. Both were a bit on the high side price wise for home use but I have tried lower priced ones that did not compare.
