While looking through my photos, weeding out non-HAMB friendly cars, I found a few I hadn't posted.

 

Yes, @Blake 27's RPU is very bitchin' ... and I'm pretty sure it's been picked for an award at a past GOODGUY'S event.

Just an FYI ... with the exception of the "AMERICA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL AWARD", cars are not "judged" at the GG's West Coast Nationals ... but rather they are "picked" ... John (@John D) Drummond explains the concept here:

Thanks for kind words, I'll try to "APPEAR" humble. LOL.
Awards are certainly nice but that wasn't my aim when I decided to rebuild Ray Hosford's T, my favorite hot rod
in Placerville Ca. my hometown back in the late 50s early 60s. There weren't many "finished" hot rods in town so I fell in love with Ray's 27 T, red lacquer, tall white top, etc. Around 1968 I had a chance to buy it but I missed out and didn't see it again until I found it in a barn thirty five years later. A typical barn find, stripped, but the same car.
In 2014 after finishing my RPU, I was fortunate enough to be picked to receive the GOODGUYS Stroker McGurk award. To have my name on that perpetual trophy with so many of my hot rod heroes is truly amazing!
It's hard to believe that was eight years ago.
