Projects Please be seated

So its been a while but i got some stuff don on the mod tonight. Ivw been thinking about the steeering and desided i better putin a seat so i know where the hel to put the wheel.

so i found a old school bus seat for $15.00 at the local junk/hardware store. it was too tall and too narrow but it was cheep an i was going to have to cut it any way. well i choped it about 6 inches and widened it 12 inches. split the base cussion in half and made a new backer board. all thats left is a little foam and the new threads when i get to that point.

 

Looks good! I used 3 bus seats to make up the third row seat in the '50Burb. Looks close to original

now that the seat is in i got around to working on the steering box. which is a ross box out of a 50 stude(thanks wowcars) got it mocked in then cut the mast down to 15 inches tossed on the wheel and viola
