I am sorry but the search function is horrible since the redesign. Why did you take the search bar out of the individual forums? If you are in the cl***ified section it should default to searching that section. This was a great feature and it makes no sense that it was taken out. Searching the cl***ifieds now is tedious. The cl***ifieds are a huge part of what I love about the HAMB, please fix it.
Not sure what you are talking about if I go to the cars for sale section and click on the magnifying gl*** and type in a term it only brings up cars for sale and better yet I can narrow it down by state as well if I want to. You must be doing something wrong.

Searching directly from the Search drop-down window never seems to work very well for me. But you might try clicking on the "More" ****on at the bottom of that window to open the Advanced Search feature. I get more and much better results by searching from there.
I have found that it is better to use the Advanced Search instead of the drop down box. It does not work worth a Damn & when you do a search, make sure you choose "recent" or "***le only" for best results. Still not as good as the old way but better than the drop down box
It is now on the right just under the Conversation envelope, you will still want to click on the more(advance search) tab to get it to work as well as the old Hamb search
Ryan, Would it be possible to make the default setting "most recent" in the search engine & have the results come up in order from newest to oldest? The way it is now, if you do not go to advanced search & change it to most recent, you get things from way back & are all jumbled up as far as when they were posted.
