PICS FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE!! any one have any good ideas please For sure NOS fenders . shinny inside just like the outside. surface rust starting. please help me out.
The only thing I think they are are sedan fenders ,I don't think they are ford.Could be chevy.Im not sure. They are sedan though
Can you get a upright picture of them? Maybe that will give us some further ***istants in id-ing them for ya.
from running board to furthest back point is 45 1/2. from inner lip to to outer lip is 10 wide. i dont think they are sedan fenders cause the holes down the center are in the center and not off to the inside. they wouldnt make the fender sink so far into the body, they would make the wheel well shallower so the fender didnt have to be so far into the car. i think the center set of holes had to have been for a chrome strip or some sort of trim. sedan holes would prob be about a 1/4 of the way into the fender not 1/2.
also dont think they are sedan fenders cause the holes downt the center go all the way down the back side of the fender, and the back side of the fender doesnt stop like a sedan. the back tip has a bead going around the whole fender, it doent stop where it would bolt to a sedan body. they are deff coupe of some sort. i think they got to be off of some sort of high dollar car.
this pic of the outside bottom, the body bead wraps around the whole fender, doesnt stop half way like a sedan would to bold to the body. this is the indside of the fenders, back lip
Give us a closeup of the front edge where the runningboard bolts up. Kinda looks close to a 32 Ford, but the bolt holes are odd. Maybe for a woodie? But then, some Chevies of the era had a very similar shape. If you can give me a shot of the inner brace where the RB bolts, I can confirm their Fordishness.
They look like 29 -30 Chevy fenders to me. 32 Chev have a scallop in the rear edge that runs up the fender about 3". The Bolt holes down the centre are Odd though. They may have been made for a Woody as someone mentioned or a Sedan Delivery. That Oval hole is a Chevy Idea. Lots of adjustment!! The Old Tinbasher
