    hi guys,
i finally got my new project back to the house and am having a hard time tracking down certain parts for it....

its a 77 p20 3/4 ton grumman step van, chevy based drivetrain

from the frame down im doing ok tracking pieces parts down, but now im digging into the dash area, and am having trouble figuring out what to go look at to get some parts i need....

i know this isnt the best pic, but if you guys could help me figure out what to go look at for some boneyard parts i would really appreciate it....

what i am mainly interested in figuring out is where to look (what years of what) for a steering column, and the gauge cluster, thanks!

    thanks lowkat,
does it make sense that the "tube" of the column is several different parts held together by clamps? if you look at the "exhaust" clamp thats on it, and where it is bolted/clamped to the dash, the "tube" is 4 different pieces that sort of lock together and are held in place by the clamps.........do you know if its the same to some extent in the c10-c30 vans ?

i guess what im trying to ask is, do you see any, or know of any reason this one would be different since its in a step van ?

    thanks for your help

Oldvannut, you probably didn't read what the HAMB is, most FNG don't. This site is about traditional rods, 1963 and older.
The muffler clamp isn't stock and my bet is the column itself is P series, don't look the same as the vans I've taken apart.

I believe that the 67-72 Chevrolet truck column is similar too, it looks like the one in my 72 at least.

That window crank in your photo is almost identical to the one in my 31 Pontiac!
