I am looking for brakes for this front end but i have no idea what axle or spindles these are. Can someone identify them, or tell me what options i have for brakes ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the chart. I do believe that the bolt holes are evenly spaced like the 42-48 spindles, but the steering arms are bolt on like the earlier f1 spindles. There is no circle cast in to align the backing plate like most early ford spindles though. I haven't seen anything quite like them

search google images for econoline spindles, and F1 spindles, and F100 spindles, see if you can find some more info.

Looks like the old Total Performance setup that they used under their Model "A" style frame that took a '27 full fender body and the deuce frame they used under most notably Jim Inglese "Full House". It was a rather excellent axle/spindle combination and there is still a ton of brakes and the like that will work including a lot of mid to late sixties pickup brakes in addition to the Econoline variety and the Mustang and Wilwood discs that I believe are still available. The experts on what's available are probably Wintec, who is at least in part, successor to Mickey Laurias company. Speedway owns the other half and may also be able to help. Sorry I can't be more specific. It's been a while since I had one of these in here.

I might add, I'd use it just for the sheer coolness of owning such an artifact and the fact they work so well!

Thank you koz. I will try to get in touch with both Wintec and speedway and hopefully get this figured out.

Turns out the spindles are 64-68 econoline spindles after all. Does anyone know if the spindle dimensions are the same as far as bearing diameters, spacing, etc as the 37-41 ford spindles? Are there any 5x4 3/4 drum brakes that can easily be adapted, or at least know of any econoline brake and hub****emblies for sale that i can redrill? Thanks
