OK boys, I am project poor. I need to get focused. I am in Rocky's boat. Too many desires...no money. Tell your buddies if they are looking for a solid project. Here's what I have. I have a 1950 Fleetline or aka Fastback with a fresh overhaul on the 235. This is a project. The body is straight and I have 2 grills. The original and the 56 Plymouth like Frank Livingston's car. The floorpans have been replaced. The windshield has been opened up for the Olds conversion but I haven't bought the glass yet. The 235 has an Offy 2x1 intake, a Howards cam, fresh bore, powedercoated oil pan, side cover and valve cover. It also has split Fentons that have been HPC coated. I have the T-5, 5 speed stickshift. The motor is out of the car, on the stand. The motorbay has been snadblasted and painted black. The body has had most of the trim holes filled and ground.I retained all of the body stainless. The beltline chrome will stay on the car.The hood has been nosed and converted to a 1 piece hood. I also have the Chevrolet Camaro rear end for it to convert it to open drive. It has a full set of 60's Caddy hubcaps that go with it. It also has skirts. The paint is intransit right now but we could suede it in one color before ya take it if ya want. I want $2800 bux for all of it. Help me move this stuff. I really don't want to ebay this stuff. Root
The only pics I have are the before pics. It is spotted with primer now in process of being customized. The car is at the point of no return soon. I can still put the stock grill back in with no problem but....I may start on the grill opening soon.
Remember this is a non-moving project at this state. But it wouldn't take much to put it in suede and put her all back together. I just want to focus on the Fly's tow truck right now.
