I bought these headlight locally and they are in a nice shape. The lenses are marked "Ford H" maybe Ford Holland. If you know were they're from please let me know. Strange thing is they are riveted together and i have know id how to put them in pieces.
Standard Model T Headlights "H" was the type of lense has nothing to do with Holland. What look like rivets are pins that fit in a grove, turn the rim to the left and it will come off. I'll be back with a photo in a few minutes.
What you can't see yet. The lense is a neat aftermarket item that I plan to use on my T Speedster someday. Your headlights are for any 1915-25 Ford.Bob
I've learned so much here on the HAMB that that it has become a game with me to repay others with something I know.
Not to leave Google out of the picture I did do a search and got this info from Lang's.....................of couse Don's son is a HAMB member. http://www.modeltford.com/item/6575RT.aspx
Hey Bob, I had a box full of those fancy lenses. Bought them on Ebay years ago from a guy by the name of Karl. I think he was in Delaware. I bought a total of maybe 50 fancy antique lenses . Could,nt resist Really nice stuff. He told me he had a garage that was absolutely full of antique headlight lenses , hardly any headlights, just the gl***. All sorts of colours too.
Thanks 37Kid So luckely i don't need a grinder to take them apart. I paid 25 euro for the pair so the must be a great deal indeed a quicker search than Google and checking out 100.000 things before you find the right info. Hennie
