Technical Please ID these GM wheels

    Found these wheels at Hershey. Thought they were 15 x 5, but they are 16 x 6. They are NOS and had GM tags on them- but part number has faded away. 6-lug, with 6 clips for hub caps. Any idea where/when these were used. Thanks!

    Late 50's, -60's accessory wheels would be my guess. Big fleets like the phone co. and the military still liked the 16" tires.

    Pre 1955 16" was standard. 16" was an option on Chevy and GM trucks for a long time. I would be just as happy to find those wheels. 16" tires are easier to find these days than 15".

    My '63 Chevy 4x4 Carryall had factory 16's. Can't remember if they had hubcap clips but definitely no caps.
