55 looks close but it is a 56

 

Did they just do a paint color change only like Chevy did or is it just a slightly differant cap ?

 

55 has the planet in the center, '56 just has the stars as shown, I believe.

 

Correct. Better pics swiped from fleaBay. 54-55 (the same) on left and 56 on right.
