Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by dutch deuce, Jan 23, 2010.

  1. From a previous project i have four of these wheels but wonder where they came from.
    Tyre size is 160 x 400
Wheels came of a 1929 Model A tudor from France and was converted to a pickup in the 40/50's.
    They have 'Ford' script hubcaps.

:) I think those ARE the hubaps ....the center piece thing

  4. Yes, the small hubcaps are on the photos

  5. Those are old Renault Monaquatre wheels. Had the same bolt pattern as Ford. Chenard & Walker ( French as well ) also had the same bolt pattern in the 1930s.

think the center looks like a 28-29
    wirewheel center that some one
welded to the rest of the wheel

  7. Thanks for the info

You both could be right, the center looks like it had some spokes grinded of so they could be Model A centers only with other outers
