when i worked at checker selling parts, i made fun of customers who bought that stuff. i also made fun of some ***hole sticking those fake scoops on his cars he was selling.

another thing to add to the list is those ****ing blue headlights...i wouldn't sell them to anyone that came in to checker. the other day a friend of my boss comes to the shop. he wants me to install some new headlights for him. ****ers are blue. i give him **** the entire time i'm doing it. i told him i'd install them only if he promised never to drive behind me or i'd run him off the road and break the ****ers. :p

There is a guy that works on the northeast side of Fort Worth that has a late 90's Hyundai that has the front and rear "sheet metal" of a C5 Corvette grafted to it and painted red, white and blue. Although, looking at the driver I am sure he meant to paint that last color green. I have tried to get pictures of it but he is always going the opposite direction of me.

That **** is all over the place down here in Florida - I think we kinda invented it or something. Painting your car up like an corporate ad is kinda the ultimate consumer submission. I was sitting in traffic between a lifted redneck truck and an Escalade with huge wheels and the Escalade was actually taller than the lifted truck. I've even seen step bars like you'd use on a truck stuck onto some of these cars. It looks about as good as the multicolored poorly done vinyl interiors these cars have. Almost makes r## rods look good.

Me too. Always have, always will.

I saw a Harley with a fake second exhaust pipe the other day. Now that looked dumb as ****.
There's a 72 Charger in our town with a wood fin. It's been on there like that since at least 90'. Oh yeah, it's rattle canned gold but you can still see the woodgrain through the paint. Matches the 14" gold directional wheels.
I saw some old NOS Cal Custom stick on hood pins still in the pack. They might have even been gold.
Lot's of stick-on vents around here. I've seen em on fenders, doors, roofs, and tailgates.

Repo, I love those VW commercials.... Ilaugh my *** off at them! Back during football season, there was a Peyton Manning commercial on how to make your car look cool........we got an illegal here in Baltimore that has a minivan with flame decals and the number 18 on the door. I almost wrecked my car laughing when I saw it...

it's not just happening in Dallas, here in Houston about 1 out of every 3rd car has the portholes, and of course their name on the back window, and to make it a triple threat,... the flag of Mexico hanging from their rear view mirror.

    Muy bonita!!!
