My compelling argument for you to duplicate this lost thread....."Come on man!!!!" that wa soo cool. I may lose several nights sleep thinking of all those lost ideas for my own truck.

Also if who ever photochoped my truck and put steelies on it and scalops could do it one more time, I promise to save those pics to my hard disk for ever.....

I actually have 3 shop trucks. The summer one is a 54 Dodge. Its clipped with all Mopar drive train. We run the shit out of this through the summer, almost 10,000 a year.

The winter shop truck (which is FOR SALE hint hint) is a 50 Dodge grafted onto an 80 Dodge 4x4 chassis.

Then I have this beat up old plow truck because some winters it snows here in northern IL. I've been trying to get rid of it too, but no one wants my junk.

I got too many trucks, need to clear some out so I can work on my next project. Gene

Those are some tough looking trucks. The Dodges don't get enough respect, I love the red one. Would look great with a Fulton style visor on it.

Hi...I'm new here so I thought I'd post my truck. I'm trying to figure out what to do wit the paint...Any Ideas? I was thinking of using a flat navy blue with some type of white roof or white stripe...

    It's a 52' studebaker with a tricked out flat head 6 banger.

Here's mine when it was red oxide, and now during it's "weathered blue" makeover.

New wide whites, and door lettering by next week.

    BTW, it's for sale!!:D

  14. My Great-Great Grandmother's '50-'52 (havn't figured out the exact year yet) International Pickup. She drove it all over her ranch back in the day until it was parked back in 1970. This is were it's sat ever since. It'll be my shop truck once I open up shop.

    This is what I drive.
The front's in the avatar, the working part is below.
It's a '40 GMC "hotrod flatbed" It's been a good driver for me for over twelve years now, andI think it's just starting to get "broke in".
To the hardware or grocery store, to the beach, to the mountains, that's all I got running a the moment.
Well, I have a MGB GT that's running but it isn't astopping so it sits till I get around to doing a brake job on it, (needs calipers gone thru too) :(

  21. These are a couple quick shots of my 57 Dodge D100. I've got better photos from when I had her looking nice. I spun a bearing and will be rebuilding the 315 soon.

The yellow one on the left. Original paint C20, 400ci sbc, TH400, floating rear axle, hauled cars, trailers, bricks, tools, friends, and ass. Easy on the eyes, hard on gas. One of the few that I wish I hadn't sold.

  27. I just picked this one up to haul the digger with... my other '57 turned out to be a bigger project than I wanted to tackle at this time...

I'm going to paint 'Big Al's Meat Company' on the doors with "you may beat our prices, but you can't beat out meat!"... to counter all the speed shop logos that people are doing these days. :D
