you guys are in my thaughts, they do some pretty damn snazzy heart work these days and sometimes they even mend themselves a bit, one of my workmates girl was born with a hole and it healed good enough to avoid surgery.

 

You'll be in our Prayers, Congratulations, Your life will never be the same, in a good way

know where ya at, been there with my daughter, three months in intensive care when she was born and four ops in her first year. Now 9 years on and she's just like any other kid.

Our boy, now 7, was born with a VSD, here drawn by his surgeon. It fixed itself, but wasn't a fun time as you know.

Prayers here will lift you,faith will carry the rest. Friends in OH with
a beautiful girl has managed to avoid surgery so far,think she turns
13 this year. Old girlfriend had an operation 17 yrs.ago to repair the
VSD at age 29. Still a cold hearted bitch,but much healthier now.

We just got an update that Liams kidneys and liver seem to be back to nearly 100% (oxygen robbed blood through the body had caused them to go into a kind of shock... they were worried about if he'd get them back on track), and he's started urinating, so that's GREAT news. Once his other organs are back on track they can proceed with making a "game plan" of sorts for him as far as surgeries and treatments go.

The cardiologist who is keeping an eye on him was, and I quote, "Very impressed at the rate of his progress so far".

He's taking to his medications and treatment so well... we're very proud of him. It's cause he's got the fightin' Irish in him.

You have our prayers. My nephew, now eleven, was born with a hole in his heart. Surgeries were predicted. It healed itself. Not saying you should count on miracles, just that they can happen.
