Please tell me about this light! The Walden Fore-lite

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Cliffy, Sep 2, 2010.

  1. I found this cool light in a box of stuff I aquired from an estate. I can't find any info on it anywhere. Can someone please tell me what this is and possibly what it is worth? Is it something worth keeping to use?

The top tag is in one of the photos and it says The Walden Fore-Lite. The lens says warner-patterson co Chicago Patternson-Lenz. It measures about 4.75" across.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Ellmore Patterson from wikipedia:
In 1916, he co-founded the Warner-Patterson Co., a manufacturer of automobile accessories. While with that company, he invented a shaded lens for automobile headlights. He retired in 1936, but remained chairman of the company's board until his death.
