Doc, I think you are alright where you are. We would just be bad influences!

None of the locals like Russ or I because all we do is drink beer and work in the garage like idiots. Ha Ha Ha Russell builds a car every year and usually sells it before he has a chance to drive it.

We live 15 miles downwind from a Nuclear Power facility, no shit.

  2. so Aron does have a glowing personality. Thanks for bringing that thing out and snaping some pics. It looks great!

  5. Man that is looking good. I was hoping to see more progress shots of it.

The rear window is a masterpiece, I'm so glad Aaron convinced you to do a coupe. Pleeeeease tell me you're running a S2D engine.

Great Work, I look forward to seeing it somewhere in person.

Actually he came up with the roof on his own. I went over there one day and it was on there! Ha Ha Ha

  8. The roof looks like it'll fit like a helmet, I like it, looks kinda like a fighter plane.

What are the plans for rolling stock?

I vote blackwalls & spun disks

I picture Woodlites for some reason or else some long bullet headlights with dome lenses like an old Buick perhaps.

I love it. Can't wait to see more.

The car really is amazing. It's so radically altered yet it's so obviously Studebaker. Very nice.

I'm imagining the headlights using the stock headlight bezel but with a bucket built behind them to make them freestanding.

I'm within the reactor-meltdown deathzone of Point Beach Nuclear plant, but all it does to me is make everything taste purple.

To make a long story short, I cut the car EVERYWHERE. The roof is shrunk lengthwise and width wise. The whole car is narrowed about 2 feet.

It was a 4 door and I threw off the front doors so that shortened it about 4 feet. The front fenders got shaved off and the hood was brought to a point. So far I have used 3 spools of wire and a couple bottles of argon and there is still a lot left to do.

Really enjoy seeing projects like this. Looks like you
have a winner here. Thought of doing something
like that to a 65 Mustang coupe, but now too old
to start something that would require that much
work. Thanks for photos, and looking forward
    for MORE. T.C.

That his hot rodding at it's finest. I hope you got some build photos to post. 37 years around cars and that is one of the finest slice and dice jobs I've ever seen. It's a visionary work to say the least. Just when you thought you saw it all.
My hats off to you pal.
    I'm gonna quit welding now.

  26. ...kinda reminds me of that narrowed Fleetline Posie just did, but YOURS looks good !!!
...E&J's or Woodlites would be perfect on that thing.
...what's the chassis and drivetrain under that ? ...inline six I hope.
    ...great job.
