You might want to take your existing pump apart. My pump didn't work on my 64 Catalina. I took it apart and found some dried sludge in the pump. I cleaned it out and put it back in and it was still working when I sold the car. It's worth a try.
Thanks to all of you! Tommy, I took the pump apart and the motor is full of dust and does not run. You can turn the anchor easily, but no chance to get it going. I will give it to a specialist to get it rebuild and then will have a spare version!
