I'm removing my stock oil filter canister cuz I think it's ugly, it gets in the way, and mine leaked no matter how I tried to fix it. I've checked previous threads about flathead oil filter canisters/oil lines/full flow filter systems, etc. but couldn't find any specific info on plugging the oil line inlet/outlets when eliminating the filter.

My question: All I have to do is plug the inlet/outlet holes at the pan rail and at the rear of the block and don't have to do anything internally? I want to do this right and not miss any details(you all know what they say about where the devil is...) I'm running a stock 8BA that I want to upgrade w/2X2's and finned heads soon....
