Plymouth flathead 6 engine identity...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by drillmastertommy, Jul 21, 2009.

  1. I recently dragged over here to the good old U of K a 1939 Plymouth PT81 pick up and now that this project is well under way I want to try and properly ID the flathead 6 engine, is it original or not, what size is it etc. I have searched through previous threads with no real luck sofar so hopefully one of you guys can help.

    The stamped serial number at the front left of the engine reads;

    P24*20582

    Help please.........
