After our Fantastic Hot Rod Gathering Event Oct 6th I am NOW in Crisis mode! Eagle Field has spent Thousands of Dollars to provide us with a Race Surface BUT NOW the Shut Down Area is DISINTEGRATING and I /WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! The Old Asphalt WILL NOT SURVIVE our TWO Day Race in May 2013 and needs to be repaved a minimum of 300'.

On December the 15th, we are having a fundraiser to SAVE THE RUNWAY AT EAGLEFIELD. Why should is this important to you? Because we have started something wonderful and new at Eaglefield TRUSTALGIA…racing and rodding for the rest of us, not just the high dollar and high-pressure drag racing of the major organizations. The owner at Eaglefield has already shouldered the first of the expenses by renewing the asphalt approach to the starting line, but NOW, it is up to US to finish the and maintain the job. We have and many will enjoy the camaraderie and fun that we have had running cars up the Eaglefield Runway for the past two years. The top end of the runway is showing the wear we have put on it in having such a great time. It is now time pitch in a couple of dollars, give an auction item, bid generously at the auction or online, and help keep the growing the events at Eaglefield. In addition to the two drag racing events there is the Eaglefield Fly-In and dance in June and hopefully more fun events to use and honor this WWII jewel from out past. I know that this is the beginning of the holiday season, but give gift that keeps on giving and throw in a couple bucks to make sure that somebody says “Thanks for coming out to Eaglefield and racing with us.”

I dug up 1 of 2 original Eagle Field 2009 Hot Rod Gathering Banners used to thank the companies that made the (FIRST) event happen. The banner measures 6' x 26" and is made of Heavy Vinyl.

This "WAY COOL" Edelbrock Achievement Award hung in Service Center in Fresno CA, awarded in 1977 and is in really good shape to look great in your favorite room. Measuring 10 3/4" x 22"

A "COOL" Edelbrock Achievement Award that hung in Service Center @ Fresno CA, awarded in 1982 and is in really good shape to look great in your favorite room. Measuring 11 1/2 x 14 1/2" OA, these items are hard to photograph and show the coolness of the Chrome/mirror finish

One pr of 15" x 8 1/2" American Racing Equipment Torq Thrust wheels originally purchased by Ray Silva in the mid 60's. These Original wheels feature a 1 1/4" positive offset, 5 on 5" pattern and Factory drilled & countersunk to accept rim screws. These are are in real good shape and just needs some elbow grease and carefull paint removal on centers to reveal the original finish.
