Please join us for the fourth Pocono Drag Lodge Reunion, to be held at the Historic Drag strip on August 11, 2012, from 6 am to 5 pm. Once again we will line up the show cars on the strip , share some memories and do a lot of Bench racing!! We will have Diane Sox, wife of the legendary Ronnie Sox, of Sox and martin Fame, on hand as we induct Ronnie into the Pocono Drag Lodge Hall of fame, and award Diane Ronnie's Legends of Pocono Drag Lodge Trophy. Bruce Larson will be in attendance, as will the Lyndwood Dragster display, tribute, and cacklefest. Last Year we had the Twin Flathead Dragster in attendance, also. People's Choice trophies will be awarded, and the winners will be chosen by the spectators. The PDL gas pump will be back this year, and we will be pumping racing gas for 39.9!! Sorry, no racing; the original 1963 Blacktop isn't up to it. dash Plaques to the first 200 show cars.No year of mfg cutoff--bring whatcha got--running/ trailer/ not running!!! In conjunction with the PDL reunion, we will have the WARMLAND Mighty 590 reunion, to celebrate the best radio station on the planet, ever. We expect to have Personalities Tommy Woods, Joey Shaver, and Paula Deignan in attendance. Admission is $5 for spectators, $15 for show cars which includes admission for the driver. Food, DJ music, and tee shirts will be available. The Lodge is at 648 Meadow run road, off rt 115, in Bear Creek, PA-8 miles from Wilkes- Barre and I-81; 4 miles from the Penna Turnpike. We're going to have a model contest at the Pocono Drag Lodge Reunion, August 11,2012. Three classes, Senior, Junior (age 15 & under) and Theme. The Theme is "Cars that Raced at the Pocono Drag Lodge". Build a model of the car you or a friend or family member raced at the Drag Lodge or one of the many pro racers that ran match races or exhibitions at the Drag Lodge.
