Any updates on a get together. I never went to the dragway but I just restored a 66 L72 Impala that spent it's life there. I would like to bring it to see if anyone remembered the car
I'm in the process of organizing a pocono drag lodge reunion. I have visited the site and it looks like a great place to have an event. The property owners are agreeable to having the meet at the old strip. I need to go down and meet with the property owners to nail down some details. I'm running on a shoestring but have a lot of folks that want to see this happen. Going to try to have a DJ spinning oldies, and am trying to get some guest celebrity DJ's from radio station WARM, and I'm trying to get the old PDL radio spot to drop in between the tunes. If anyone would like to help, attend, know anyone that would like to attend, please email me; I'm in the process of getting a mailing list together. I realize stuff like event insurance, electrical service, sanitation of some sort and food service will need to be dealt with, and will tackle this stuff after I meet with the property owner. Will need to charge some kind of admission but want to keep it as low as possible so that anyone can afford it and come. Everyone will be invited!! Stay tuned and let's hear from ya!! sounds good just line them up on the old track if it's still accessable like they do at the vargo reunion. the first year we had it everyone was parked on the strip (race cars/show cars/spectator car ect) . paul
Keep us updated. Im from Hunterdon County NJ, and only 30 -45 min outside of Pocono I'll spread the word to my buddies and try to get a bunch of us up there when it happens.

gaspumpchas. sould like great idea. There is one every year just down the road from you. Its The Sticks Reunion that is held at Mountian View Drag strip in Wind Gap Pa. Great little show and there alway some old drag cars that show up. I help out for the first show. (Flash Back Rodders) Now I think it is put on by the Mighty Mopar and the Gear Grinders. Maybe some of them are on here and can help you out.

Need to make a correction. The two club that do the Stick reunion are The mighty Mopor and the High Winders not the Gear Grinders. Sorry about that.
