Man, I love driving events, but I had one of my club brothers working on a Nostalgia Funny Car at the Goodguys drags at Pomona. Gotta go give support, right? So, how was the Poker Beach Run? HotRodVon mentioned that it would be a driver's run and the cars had better be running well. So, where did you guys go? How far? How many cars showed up? How was the after-party? Went to start the blue truck today and the battery's dead. Damn thing only lasted 7 years...just out of warranty...Hell ya only rent them anyway! Big deal? It wouldn't be if it wasn't under the carpet under the steel plate screwerd to the floor....I'll fix it Manana... Oh well, so much for the excuses, I plum forgot about it, SORRY!!!
Chili Phil- We had a great time. We're gonna do it again next year. Had the "afterparty" at the Blue Cafe in downtown LB. Good live blues, plenty of drinks, lots of peelin out. Left plenty of "stripes" in front...oh ya almost forgot...I guess we lost some people at the 4th card stop...seems some people were having WAY too much fun at the strip joint...oh ya, left our marks their too
