polished bell housing?

Did any company ever sell a chevy p***enger car type bell housing that was polished? Im thinking ansen, cal custom or some other company? thanks. jim

 

I've never encountered one that was factory polished, but I've seen many that were polished later on. There were also a few chrome ones that were sold like Cragar, Nicson, Speed Gems, and Ansen. Hope this helps. Steven.

 

thanks Steven, I have a guy that wants to trade for my bell housing, Hes got what he says is a polished chevy bell housing, + cash for my 66 vette bell housing, I just want to make sure im getting a chevy bell housing, not some offshore knock off thats just going to give me headaches with missalignment issues. jim
