  1. Dad's '55 gasser is currently running a fresh 358ci 327, soild lifter cam, .202 fuelie heads with a vintage SN60 Paxton/Studebaker supercharger. It's fast and done, but we have an opportunity at a fresh 327 with fuelie heads, solid cam and a original magnesium GMC 6-71 supercharger with a complete Iskenderian blower drive setup and dual quads. I could cut a hole in the hood and use a clear hood scoop over the carbs and just change the "PAXTON" lettering on the fenders. What do you guys think? Leave it done or would it be cooler with the 6-71 motor? If we did this we would use the Paxton motor in the "In-Bomber" '57, which though technically isn't right for that car it would look right at home in it.

Someone once said, " If it doesnt have a Blower, its not a race car"

Paxtons are cool, IMHO nothing beats a Roots type Blower.

Its your stuff, go with your gut. And have fun, lots of fun...

Looks killer the way it is--is there some reason you can't funnel the 6-71 motor into the 57?
