    OPEC loves you.

I hear a lot of old car guys complain about rotten gas tank floats or dried out diaphrams, I've experienced those problems too. I have a strong suscpicion that most of the problems are from old gas that sits around too long and poor qaulity auto parts. It's a pain. We should be able to buy quality auto parts and fuel with a decent shelf life, but everybody is too worried about saving a dime. I support quality-made American fuels. I don't think ethanol deserves the rap for every minor disfunction, but even if it it did. I am a mechainic. I can fix my car. I'd rather fix my car with pride than be responsible for sending our young men and women into war just so we can have gasoline. Our additiction to gasoline causes a lot of probelms I can't fix with my S&K sockets and my Vice Grips.

Yeah, me and the kid were ridin down Oakwood Blvd that day where the refinery is. I live about 5-6 miles from it, you could see the smoke from my driveway. We've got the windows down, the sunroof open, headin to Mexican Town for dinner. All of a sudden there are cops in gas masks everywhere directing traffic!! I hit most of the window buttons, the kid hits hers and the sunroof. No tellin what we were breathing! Now they are charging me more $$ for the pleasure of breathing in god knows what!! Nice.

We are taxed to almost death in B.C., but when i go to the Dr, it's free.
But it takes months to get any hospital care.

Cheapest low octane unleaded gas in my town here in Sweden costs (equal to) $2.08/litre, or $7.84 per gallon.
    High octane unleaded: $2.16/l, $8.20/gal
    E85: $1.47/litre, $5.56/gal
    Diesel: $2.03/l, $7.68/gal

Somehow I can't help smiling when I hear people in the US talk about how expensive fuel is. You don't know how happy you should be.

$3.39 for the cheap stuff down the street from me. Check out pure-gas.org and they have a list state by state of non ethanol fuel. The closest to me is 45 minutes away making it not worth it.
