For me the plymouth is more desirable, most will say no I am sure but given my options both in equal condition I would jump on the plymouth.
Looks like you already picked the Mopar. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7837122#post7837122 Do an intro and tell us a bit about you.
If you have to ask then you should keep looking until you find something that really floats your boat. Are you going to build it to sell it, or to drive it and enjoy it? ~Alden
My vote was for the PLY even though my car in '58 was a '50 Fleetline. Lots of then around again and the PLY is different.
The Fleetline for me. Normally, I'd say the Plymouth because its different and not a Ford or Chevy, but I've never really been too keen on the MoPar Business Coupes of that period. Something about the short roofline and long trunk doesn't flow to my eyes. But your mileage may vary...
If you wan't to be like everyone else, get the Chevy, but if you want to be just a little special, go with the Plymouth!
As the owner of a beloved '48 plymouth, OUCH! For the record, go with the Chevy if you want an easy build/update kinda deal. The Plymouths either leave them as is, or ya go "all in".
Mary Ann!!! Have always loved sweet, innocent, tiny black haired girls that can managebly hide their inner crazy well!!! Oh, wrong question.
In which context are we using the word "special"? Man, I love me some Fleet line, but then it's not me buying its you. Then again, you did ask for opinions and to me the Fleet line is preferable. Paul
how about Ginger AND Mary ann get both one for show, one for getting the job done. [cars i'm talking about]
I'm a Chevy guy myself, but those Plymouth's look pretty damn nice all done up. Had to vote for the Ply. on this one.
