  1. You're flipping this right? Just break out the Brillo pads, kerosene, Easy Off (for the spider web ****), and some good old elbow grease. Then come up with a good ******** 'barn find' story for the next owner. Easy peezy, lemon squeezy....

Patina only works on cars of significant historical value. Dare to be different, build a high quality finished hot rod

The term patina is used way to much. I have no problem with original paint that has been cared for with minor flaws, but most of these rides with patina are just used up rust buckets that are suffering from severe neglect.
In my opinion "patina" is code for I'm lazy and impatient and dont want to finish what I started.
I'm sure there are a few that actually like that look because there is alot of fake patina as well.
You should ne er be proud of driving a ride that looks like ****.

Best response EVER award goes to... Lloyd of Lloyd's paint & gl***!!! LOL!!! Congratulation's Lloyd!!! What are you gonna do now that you've won the Grand Prize?

  6. It’s not mine
Build it to suit your vision, not mine.
    but since ya asked...
I’d loose the spider web and enjoy it for a while.
Then decide if I needed to go further with it.
If it’s a car to flip, shine up what’s there. The profit margin is higher in a cleaned up functional form than perfect paint and body work.

Poll question is a total mystery to me. Good luck flipping it, I think you over paid. Bob

  8. hubcap,.jpeg hubcap.jpeg Why do the hubcaps look like they have a slice cut off ( in all the threads of this car and from all angles ) ?

  9. Patina.... French for 'I'm too cheap to paint it'....

If you zoom in, it appears that there is black tape on the hubcaps rather than actually being sliced or cut.
