The rumble and cackle of dual exhaust violated the serene calm of Ol' Rocky's quiet neighborhood this afternoon as Poncho Billy blasted up my street in his Green 57 Pontiac Star Chief. I finally got to meet Bil in person. We went out to "Johnnies Steak House" to rub elbows with the likes of Warren Buffet and chow down on a good ol' fashioned Omaha steak...Buffet didn't make it tonight.. We left the Pontiac home for dinner but afterward, we blasted home in the Missus' daily-driver to take the Poncho on a mini garage crawl....Bil took some digital photos but his "usb port" on his camera is different than mine and we can't post photos...he'll hafta post photos after he get's home.. Everyboy's sleepin like dogs right now and I'm gonna go join Mrs Rocky in a minute.....Great fun. To be continued......................

Oh yeah !!!! I've seen it in the mags. I LUST for that car !!!!!! In 1960,when I was 13, my neighbor had a baby blue convertible that he'd take me for rides in to the local A&W. Been wantin' one ever since.( Along with about a thousand other cars)
Phew!!! What a blast! Again I want to thank Rocky and Mrs.Rocky for thier hospitality. There is nothing better after a LONG day than, to feel right at home with good folks.
