    rear trans mount fabricated and moved park brake wire mount .xpipe fabricated

  2. I had a guy make a big deal of getting a '59 block so he could use it in an earlier application, because of the mount holes - I just don't remember why that was, it's been way too long.

    got the mid mount up today and converter coved it is tight

    got engine and trans running now .had it outside in spring sun both yesterday and today.

    update today installing a pontiac catalina fuel tank 1961-1964 on my gmc 1958 filler is still in progress but will go on left side of bed.

    got gas filler pipe done had to pull bumper to get it down after fiting it dont have a pipe bender so it was in 8 pices.

    i been driving truck to work for 2 weeks sorting out engine and transmision hooked up tach today and driving 65 mph it read 1350rpm and it drives good on road my guess it have not been on road for 30years.but with only 46000miles on it steering is good.got heater in today fan engine run warm but i had one 62 pontiac on shelf it fit right on only changing fan
