I have a 239 inline six from my 1948 Pontiac. I just put rings in it, then found i still have no compression. It needs a valve job, and I just bought a completely rebuilt Jimmy 302 for less than the cost of a valve job. The block looks very good. Cylinder walls are nice, very small ridge at top. Only 54k miles on engine. Asking $200 for everything, or trades, or would consider parting it. Big items i can put on a pallet and load, but you need to set up shipping. I am in need of a GMC flywheel, 12volt starter, waterpump, and distributor. Would also trade for usable carbs for a multi carb set up.
