Pontiac 316 piston ring question.

Getting ready to re-install rings and I wanted to verify something. I have top compression ring. Second compression ring with another oil control ring in same gap. Third gap has oil control ring, expander, then another oil control ring. Question is I also have a wire ring shaped like a stop sign. (octaganol). What ring does this go behind?
