Even though it's down the list a bit, I'm collecting parts for my 52 Ranchwagon.
I have acquired a 1966 389 complete, less trans. It isn't in my shop yet so I can't really evaluate it for fit. Does anyone have any experience with this swap? I'd planned for a Chevy or small block Ford but this was a deal. Got it from my next door neighbor who's a Pontiac nerd, so I shouldn't have any major trouble with info on the engine itself.

By the way, i really enjoy the group.
    Thanks, Charley

There's an album on my profile page. It's a pretty rough piece!

Boy, ain't that the truth, I have a welder, plasma, grinder, sledge and some misc. steel plus a tape measure somewhere. Alos plenty of the Handyman's secret weapon. I'd just like to avoid too many do overs.

I have other more common engines available, but I've always wanted a tri-power 389. I had a flathead powered '52 Vic in high school when everyone else had a Tripower GTO, so that may be part of it.
    Any input appreciated.
