Can anybody recommend a Pontiac engine builder? Want to do a stroker motor with dual carbs, relatively mild cam. Looking to maximize low RPM torque.

Thanks for the replies. Ive gotten several responses about Butler, all positive. I also got a suggestion about Len Williams in OK, but guy didn’t have first hand experience. Anyone here have an opinion?

I started playing with pontiac engines late 70's and back then it was HO racing and Nunzi. Then a new start up called butler racing came along, along with Rock N Roll engineering but thru it all Butler kept an excellent reputation and to this day I don't know of any people that were ever unhappy with Butlers work.

In fact if you ever seen street outlaws then you would have heard of Chief, he held the title for along time running a Butler pontiac motor. That car and engine were scary.

If cost isn't a consideration I'd be on the phone tomorrow with Butler having an engine built.

The Spine Tingler Pontiac wagon running in the Southeast Gassers' S/S class has a Butler Performance engine. It runs Good!!
