Pontiac Radio ID?

Found this in a pile of junk of my dad's...I think the radio is from a Pontiac Catalina, anyone recognize it for sure?

 

looks 60's to me....look around it for a tag....

The CD (civil defense) triangles on the dial face are definitely early 60's.

 

Looks like about 1963 to me.

Looks like the one in my '63 Catalina.

 

This radio is from the '60s, but the CD symbols started in 1956; it's how I used to tell the difference between '55 and '56 Chevy radios.

Six Forty Twelve Forty Conelrad, Six Forty Twelve Forty Conelrad

Conelrad stands for Control of Electronic Radiation - they used to send out test broadcasts from time to time. In the event of an actual alert (Bison Bombers overhead) you were to turn to 640 or 1240 on your AM dial to receive proper instructions on how to put your head between your knees and kiss your ass goodbye.

Believe it might fit 1965 Tempest /LeMans / GTO too. That's from old memory but it sure looks the same.
