Dude cant you put the hub in a brake lathe to tun it down I did a similar thing when I put disc's on a 55 rambler LTR Dave
turned down the hubs on the lathe yesterday, got longer lugstuds installed. Get the early style lemans calipers they fit right on the brackets, I got the later style from a firebird a had to trim some excess off to clear the kingpin . I'll get some pics up this weekend if I can figure out how to. Also the stock wheels won't fit different backspacing hits the caliper. Scott

anyone know what front subframes will work for a '53-54? The nova '69-72 I think but what about a camaro or anything else...around my area I need options.
late 70's camaro works good!!! thats what my buddy used on his 53 pontiac! used stock steering colum and a steering shaft out of a 03 chevy conversion van.
