...Out of the Yard and Out to a more formal period background...I just shared this in the Art Show as I do periodically and feel it should also be here to inspire your considerations moving forward @flynstone...

I feel I have retained in this inspiration a Coupe profile and because your in control of direction you could go either Fleetline as your Doner Roof is or mod it into a complimentary coupe like roofline...these are big decisions.

I hope all is well your way...;)

  6. No man can question the OP's bravery but I do dig the front end treatment as well.

Being an olds guy I can not understand why anyone would put an olds grill on a Ford or that ugly thing.
A few years ago I was at a show in tenn. Had a guy walk up and tell me I had to sell him the grill off my olds for 350.00 right then his Ford needed a grill ...almost took his head off.

Yes the Grille with the Teeth or Bumperettes could be refined and balanced for a Full On Custom Assault...

The Rear Window reminded me of this Factory Marvel...Custom...scaled something along these could fit the Coachbuilt Finese...this is one of those areas that begs for maximum use of position and sightlines versus visual compliment...
