Event Coverage PoorBoys do BilletProof 2009

Let me first say thanks to everyone that came out to the show this year. You all made it an awesome event and a pleasure to put on. Special thanks go to Alan for putting it all together and to all of our friends who come to help us work the show.
I had a hell of a time right before the show getting our buddy Willie's 46 Ford truck ready and we thrashed tight up to the last minute, but he did make it without any problems. We all met at Glenn's house on Friday morning to caravan to the museum to get ready for the show. We met up with a few more cars along the way to hit the road. Once we got there we got to visit with everyone and relax a bit before the mayham that is running a show of this size. I'd have to say that this year was a lot smoother and we all had a lot more fun and I'm sure next year we will do even better. We figured there where over 600 cars in the same space we fit just over 500 in last year, so next year I want to see everyone come out so we can pack the house with over 800.
I wasn't in a photo taking mood this year so I passed my camera off to PoorBoy Brian and let him run wild. He brought me back a dead battery and just over 1000 pictures. Here are a few to keep you busy for a while.

Thanks for the pics - we just rolled in, no problems on the trip back home. What a blast - even better than last year!

 

It was a real pleasure having you guys come all the way down to visit with us Gator. Thanks for all the help! Glad you had a good trip back home.

Thanks for posting those up for me John! I had a blast and cant stop thanking all of you who came out to make this year better than last year!!! I hope to see all of you again next year and hopefully even more people!

 

You have no idea how close I came. Gregg Pelicer offered to pick me up at the airport and drive me to the show and then return me to the airport....any airport I could get a cheap flight to. GreenMtBoy offer the same thing if I flew into Atlanta. I'd been checking flights daily up till the day before the show. Couldn't find anything cheap.

As I posted on another thread, if you do not enjoy this show, I do not know what would please you.
Thanks to Alan and the Poor boys of Tampa and all of those who helped them. They did a fantastic job of getting everyone parked and ran through registration.
As far as some billet getting through, why don't some of you complaining, get out there and help police the front gate. I think that you will find it is not as easy as you think it is. That is not the only thing these guys and gals have to do to get everyone in and parked as fast as they do.
