Thanks for the comment REJ. It is very hard to police the entry completely. We did turn a lot of people away, but some manage to slip through.

Man what a great show and we really had a good time and met lots of nice people! Little thin on sales of my shifters unfortunately thats the way it goes and signs of the times! The wind was just a *****! Sonny's EZ-Up was flappin' all day and I think we all had dirt in every crack and crevace on our bodies by the end of the day!! LOL. I was amazed at how smooth it was to get into the field, parking was a breeze, and everyone was super helpful! You guys did an outstanding job once again, and we will certainly look forward to next year!

There were so many cool cars in the field, the ingenuity of some of these guys was just off the chart! There were a few cars that really deserved a four and fifth look, and had lots of attention all day. This wrecker had a huge crowd all the time, and was just full of crazy detail!

Here's another outstanding little truck from St. Augustine. The detail was incredible! Take a close look at all the kool parts on this thing! I forget the owners name now, but a really nice guy!

A lot of guys *****ed about that one last time it showed up here on the Hamb.

I saw it at a show in Georgia last year and will say whether it's your cup of tea or not, it appeared to me to be extremely well built and it does have a lot of interesting details.

Hey, thanks for posting the pics. Looks like a great day and an lot of fun. Wish I could have made it this year, but could do it. Maybe next year my Olds will be back on the road and ready for the trip. Also hoping that the gas prices stay low since the Olds only gets 8 mpg on the hiway and the hiway is 900 miles long from here to there.:(

Can someone tell me how the shifter in the Diamond T wrecker worked?
That truck has a lot of little details that the longer you looked at it, the more you spotted.

  11. This years Billetproof ranks up there with some of the best things that have ever happened to me... Like my graduation(s), my first beer and losing my viginity.

    The show rocked!!
I took way over way more then a 1,000 photos,
my thigh muscles are screaming from doing squats all day taking pics .. lol.. NO gym workout needed this week!

Hats off to Alan and the Poor Boys, you guys did an excellent job!
If I had to make a negative comment ...which has nothing to do with the
way the show was run, you all just need a few port-a-potties on both ends of the show grounds on next year's site plans.

KUDDOS to all involved, great turn out, great weather, couldn't asked for
much more, cars, cars, and more cars, those who missed it, mark your calendars for next year you will not be sorry!

Thanks Lea! Looking forward to seeing your coverage of the show. I saw you there briefly but didn't get a chance to stop and chat with you. Things were pretty busy, ya know. :)
The porta-potty issue was discussed as something we can, possibly, change next year. It will be looked into. Good, constructive criticism is always welcomed so we can make a better show for you. Thanks! Mike

Who is that ugly S.O.B. kneeling next to that drop-dead gorgeous deuce roadster?

  21. There was a lot of those kinds of cars at last weeks run to sun car show in myrtle beach S.C.There were thousands of cars but the old style rods drew the biggest crowds. They were a big hit.

Man, I'm a ****er for these big flaked paint jobs! The "tikified" interior of this car was a big hit too. The owner had some of those yard lights that mounted inside the bamboo tiki torches inside! Probably looks killer at night!

This car was just perfect, and the kandy persimmon paint with big gold flaked scallops just set it off. Great build!
