I just got my 47, and it will be a while before I can do any body work, and it will be piece-meal as I get to it. She's going to have to be outside for a while. Which product would you recommend: POR-15 or Eastwood Rust Encapsulator? Or other product? Forgive me if I'm being a stupid noob. I just want more experienced opinions before dropping a couple hundred bucks on paint for rusty metal.

I use Rust Bullet. Bad luck with those other two I guess.

    So far, so good.

Just to confuse you a little more, KBS Coatings. I saw it at SEMA in November and I was really impressed. When cured, it is really tough. The demo at SEMA was to beat on the surface of a rear end with a hammer after painting the rear end with their rust seal . Tough stuff. What really impressed me the most is the ability to paint over it, using quality paint, so you aren't limited to just the standard colors.

    Here is their website.
